Medically speaking, the definition of the word "anorexia" is simply, "loss of appetite." It is purely a matter of choice whether someone ingests food or not, what types, and in what quantities. Once upon a time the psychiatric establishment deemed other Lifestyle Choices to be Disorders as well, such as homosexuality. Today we know better: a sexual preference/orientation is not a disease. Neither is anything that proceeds from the execution of the free agency of the human will. It is time to stop manufacturing victimhood and start recognizing people are accountable and responsible for their own choices -- and as adults, should be treated as such. Get Real!
